Jose Casado
Head of Corporate IT & AI Mentor at Clarity.ai
I run corporate IT at a scaleup — identity, MDM, SaaS governance, compliance, the infrastructure that has to work so everyone else can do their job. Alongside that, I'm formally responsible for AI adoption at Clarity: helping Finance, Operations, Marketing and HR teams learn to use AI tools with judgment, not just enthusiasm.
I also co-lead our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Employee Resource Group — work I've done continuously across multiple companies, including saas.group before Clarity. It's the same discipline as IT: designing systems that work for people, applied to a different kind of problem.
Outside the day job I run a small US LLC, maintain a homelab on a Mac Mini M4, and build the occasional side project. I'm finishing a degree at University of the People alongside everything else.
I work fully remote from Bollullos de la Mitación, a town of about 10,000 people in Sevilla, Spain. Most of the companies I work with are in the US or UK. The gap between those two contexts is one of the things I find most interesting to write about.
This blog
I write about what I build, what I break, and what I teach. Mostly in English. In Spanish when the topic genuinely calls for it — Spain-specific IT context, AI adoption material where the Spanish-language conversation is thin, that kind of thing.
No lead magnets. No consulting page. No "10x your productivity with AI" posts. The goal is to write things I'd want to read: specific, honest, occasionally opinionated.
